Wales Young Farmers Field Day
Last Saturday young farmers from all over Wales attended the Wales Young Farmers Field Day hosted at Welshpool market .
Teme Valley Tractors Welshpool were pleased to supply three New Holland tractors for the young Farmers to use in the competition. The New Holland tractors supplied included T7 200 with a Kuhn Plough, T6175 with McConnel hedge brusher and New Holland TS115A.
The young farmers took part in a safety competition where they had to complete timed tasks including unhooking and re hooking a plough changing the plough points and putting a brusher on a tractor. In the middle of the hedge brusher task the siren went and they had to attend to a injured person role play. No young Farmers were in injured in the simulation!

The Efficiency with Safety competition teaches our members how to operate machinery in a safe way and the skills they learn are invaluable to them in their agricultural careers. Without the support of Teme Valley Tractors we would not be able to run a successful event for our members.”
