Teme Valley Tractors Ltd & Rea Valley Tractors
We are delighted to announce that on Wednesday 5th July we have reached an agreement with Rea Valley Tractors (RVT) to join forces, with a target date for the end of September we will become part of the RVT group.
After this completion date, it will still be business as usual but under the RVT dealership. We will continue operating from our current locations and you will still be greeted by the same friendly faces receiving the same first-class sales and service, including Graham at Knighton and Martyn at Welshpool.
This acquisition will provide our customers with benefits from an enhanced offering in the region with more choice of New Holland and Kuhn equipment available within the larger group, as well as an expanded product range from a single provider, offering additional strong brands such as JCB materials handling equipment and Bailey Trailers.
Teme Valley Tractors Ltd began in May 1983 with Graham, Mervyn and Brian based in Knighton as firstly a Ford and New Holland franchise which later evolved into New Holland Agriculture. Then in 1993 we ventured to Welshpool and our sister branch was created where Martyn and Phil joined the directorship, with Martyn heading up Welshpool. Over all those years we have thoroughly enjoyed serving the local agricultural community from our depots. We are really proud of the 40 years at Knighton and 30 years at Welshpool that we have achieved as TVT and would like to thank our TVT team throughout the years and our loyal customers for all your support along the way.
With our new exciting chapter on the horizon we look forward to continuing with all our TVT team and customers as we transition to become part of the well-established and growing Rea Valley Tractors.
On completion of the acquisition RVT will operate from a total of nine locations, with each branch being a fully functional sales, service and parts operation that can independently serve the local area.
TVT and RVT will continue to work as usual, while making the necessary preparations for the future collaboration and integration, with completion being targeted for the end of September.
